Beveled Lumber, also called Beveled Dunnage is a staple when your hauling coils. This is used in conjunction with a coil rack to make sure your coil is snug on your flatbed and will not roll or shift during transport.
Please follow the recommended Working Load Limits of your Load to properly secure your load down with the correct G70 chain and binder, as well as using the Coil racks and Beveled Lumber.
By using everything together will ensure you will get to where you need to be safely and securely.
Other words and phrases sometimes associated with Beveled Lumber are, Dunnage, Steel Coil Load Boards, “Oak” Blocks or Wood Blocks. Please note that Beveled Lumber can be made out of all sorts of hard wood.
NOTE: Beveled Lumber does not have a Working Load Limit as it is not a securement device. It is only used as a secondary measure to keep your load from shifting during transport.
