About Us
The name TarpHaus may be a newer name in the Cargo Control industry, but we have been around since 2015. We started as a trucking company, Bare Logistics in the Chicago area and are still growing in that area. Our founders, brothers Vic and Alex, decided that so many truck drivers in the Chicago area needed some products and fast, they would open a small resale shop onsite of their truck parking lot and repair shop. That grew steadily and now while Alex is taking on many of the trucking company responsibilities, Vic is going to focus mainly on growing TarpHaus into one of the largest and best Multi-Service Centers for Truck Drivers. We are a family owned and operated company and pride ourselves on treating everyone who comes in the doors like they are family as well.
In the TarpHaus Multiplex, easily accessible on I-90/I-80 and I-294 in Chicago, not only do we have our Cargo Control store, but we also have our TruckShop. The TruckShop is our company that can repair your truck or trailer and where we can install your new Toolbox or Cab rack if you want a professional welder to do this. Just ask for details while purchasing those items. We have also been installing Conestoga’s since 2017. We have many large companies we solely install for and would love to talk to you about installing one as well. Just think about it, you’d never have to tarp a load again! We also have overnight secure parking for your truck or trailer if needed for a small fee, inquire within.
Being former truck drivers ourselves we know what it takes to be out there on the road. And we will not cut corners with our products or give you less than what you deserve. We know you need tough, rugged cargo control products in order to get your loads where they need to go.
We also know tarps and how much tarping loads, is probably no one’s favorite part of the job. We offer many different options when it comes to lightweight tarps, one of which being our RipStop Fabric, which helps stop any tears in the fabric from continuing once it starts. These tarps are not only a lightweight option but also can help prolong the life of a tarp. When you see the quality of our tarps, compared to others, you will know we appreciate drivers and will only provide the best to them.
Quality products are our forefront, and we partner with some of the leading vendors in the business. Kinedyne, Ancra, Exaloy are just to name a few. We also make sure anything that we manufacture with our own vendors is tested on our own trucks, we know the little details count. We would never sell anything to you that we do not use ourselves. How many other companies would say that? That is the difference between TarpHaus and other companies, we are in the industry as well, not just behind a desk pretending to understand what a driver thinks and feels. We ARE drivers.
